The 62nd RILEM Week will be organized in conjunction with SACoMaTiS 2008, International RILEM Conference: On Site Assessment of Concrete, Masonry and Timber Structures.

The RILEM Week is organised by Dep. Struct. Eng.(DIS) Politecnico di Milano.
In the last years TCs dealing with site assessment of structures were set up by RILEM and the results of their work will be presented at the Conference together with the contribution of external international experts.

SACoMaTiS 2008 involves five RILEM’s Technical Committees concerning the development and use of NDTs. These group, which will actively contribute to this conference and will schedule their technical meetings concurrently, are:
 

212-ACD - (Chair: Prof. Masayasu OHTSU)
Acoustic emission and related NDE techniques for crack detection and damage evaluation in concrete


AST - (Chair: Prof. Bohumil KASAL)
In-situ assessment of structural timber


207-INR - (Chair: Prof. Denys BREYSSE)
Interpretation of NDT results and assessment of RC structure


MAI - (Chair: Dr. Carmen ANDRADE)
Model assisted integral service life prediction of steel reinforced concrete structures with respect to corrosion induced damage


SAM - (Chair: Prof. Luigia BINDA)
Strategies for the assessment of historic masonry structures with NDT
